FREE ACCESS
- official delegations, as well as for other cultural delegations, within the limits of the museum's operating schedule;
- the employees of the museum network, of the National Heritage Institute, of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity and of the decentralized services of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity;
- preschool children (0-6 years);
- children up to 18 years of age, who have special needs or are disabled and for those to whom social protection measures are applied;
- adults with serious or pronounced disabilities, as well as for accompanying persons;
- pupils and students who are Romanian citizens outside the borders of the country, scholarship recipients of the Romanian state;
- ICOM, ICOMOS card holders, ASER members, AMALR members, AEOM members;
- Euro 26 card holders, aged up to 30, access is free for: every 26th day of every month, when the institution is open to the public; on the next working day of the month (27) if the institution is open to the public;
- pensioners who have been active for at least 10 years in the cultural-artistic field, under the conditions provided by GD no. 385 of March 18, 2004 (special identification issued by the Ministry of Culture and National Identity);
- war veterans – Romanians and foreigners who provide proof through a document from which this quality can be read;

The guidance service is available under the following conditions:
- It is requested in writing –ghidaj@muzeul-satului.ro, at least 48 h before;
- Availability is checked;
- It is confirmed in writing;
- It is made for a group of 30 people maximum;
- Costs – 200 lei/Romanian, 300 lei/English, Russian, French – cash, card – Cashier.
- The cost of the guide can also be paid directly to the museum's account, at least 24 hours before.
