Annual of religious art

The Association of Branch Filial Art Religious and Restoration of the Union of Plastic Artists in Romania organizes the 11th edition of the annual of religious art in partnership with the prestigious national museum "Dimitrie Gusti" in Bucharest.

One week before Easter, the feast of the Savior's triumphal entry into Jerusalem is celebrated in the Orthodox Church before His passions and resurrection from the dead. Then we all hold the signs of victory in their hands, it is still a time of salvation, the days of the Holy and Savior Passions begin, in which the Son of God has shed His Holy Blood for the salvation of our souls. So let us go, together, the path of the cross in the light of holy life!

In this period loaded with emotion, we come year from year from year and we plastic artists, with our creations, sacred art being one of the ways of knowledge and close to God, a reflection of the perfect beauty of the unseen world, where the soul of the righteous, in the temple of the Holy Spirit rises in light.

The proposed event is also an opportunity to meet the joy of the plastic artists of the Union of Plastic Artists in Romania, other plastic artists or prestigious restaurs of the Romanian cultural space, constant collaborators of the exhibitions organized by our branch, with the most recent creations specific to our guild, and contemporary sacred.

The exhibition will take place between April 13 - May 11, 2025 at the National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" in Bucharest, the rooms rounded up to the exhibition being "HH HHLL" and "HH Stahl".

The opening will take place on Sunday of Flowers, on April 13, 2022, at 14.00.

It presents the art critic Dr. Marius Tița and the historian and theologian Florin Șerbănescu - patriarchal counselor.
