Bucovina – Land of Balance

Bucovina – Land of Equilibrium, photo exhibition signed by

rower Sergiu Bejan

The National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village invites you to the photography exhibition "Bucovina – Land of Balance", signed by the world and European rowing champion, Sergiu Bejan. The exhibition is organized by the BUCOVINA natural mineral water brand and can be viewed until the end of July.

In the exhibition, you can admire photos taken by Sergiu in the land of Bucovina, in which he immortalized with great talent and artlandscapes that capture the charm of the seasons. Also on display are photos of animals, from deer to the lone and hard-to-capture grouse or the imposing deer.

Born on November 18, 1996 in Suceava, Sergiu Bejan is a member of the Romanian Olympic rowing team. The road to performance started at the age of 15, when he was selected for the national junior rowing team.

He has always had a passion for photography, but he really gave it a go 7 years ago, when he bought his first DSLR camera.

My passion for photography helps me disconnect and recharge for a new and long day of training, discovering the beauties of nature and the secrets of wild animals. I am a big lover of fauna and flora, I really like to spend some of my time exploring nature. In Snagov, I go out to photograph when I have time, but when I get home, in Bucovina, the outings are much more frequent and spectacular. For me, Bucovina is Heaven on Earth!- said Sergiu.

With over 80 titles in his record - including those in which, together with his teammate Marius Cozmiuc, they became European champions in the double sculls event and the first Romanian rowers to become world champions in the men's double sculls event, Sergiu also adds prizes obtained at competitions of photo.

Performance requires a lot of work and not least ambition and total dedication. Regardless of whether we are talking about sports performance or another field. From my point of view, Sergiu has all these qualities and I am sure that he will continue to do extraordinary things both in rowing and in photography. I will support him from now on and I am glad that he has other supporters, such as BUCOVINA water, which is with him to make his talent known, sent Ms. Elisabeta Lipa.

We are glad that the partnership between BUCOVINA water and the Romanian Rowing Federation is evolving, it supports the athletes' thirst for performance, but also their passions. Apa BUCOVINA has teamed up very well with the Romanian Canoeing Federation in joint actions of social responsibility to protect nature, and now, we encourage Sergiu's passion for photography by organizing this exhibition that surprises the Bucovina area with a lot of talent. The exhibition was made with the support of the Village Museum. Thanks for your involvement!said Ioana Vișean, PR Manager of Maspex Romania.

I'm glad to see and meet a young man with such a complex character, who makes time between competitions and training, to climb the mountain to take pictures and turn everything into such a beautiful exhibition. I wholeheartedly congratulate our champion Sergiu Bejan for the medals he won and for his passion for nature and photography, stated mrs. Paula Popoiu, director of the National Village Museum.
