Carasuhat: Water remains, life remains

WWF-România (World Fund for Nature) and the National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" invites you to the photo exhibition "Carasuhat: the water remains, life remains".

The photographs, which will be exhibited in the Dobrogea area of the Village Museum between July 24 and August, 2025, are made by Adrian Năsturică, Lucian Măndruță and Andrei Prodan and surprise part of the amazing biodiversity of the area.
The story begins eight years ago when the former Carasuhat agricultural enclosure, from Mahmudia, was played by Delta. Meanwhile, nature has followed its course, and in the last two years, the area has expanded naturally.

With the return of the water, life also returned to Mahmudia and Beștepe. The community lives from fishing, boat and tourism walks, and the vast majority of people (97% of them!) Want the area as it is now: alive and full of nature.
