National Museum Education Conference, 5th edition

As every year, the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village organizes the National Museum Education Conference, now in its fifth edition. It is a good opportunity for specialists in the field of museum education to exchange ideas, discuss, identify solutions in adapting extracurricular activities to the programs offered by the museum and adapting the museum to the requirements of schools and the general public in the educational spectrum.

Given that the Covid-19 pandemic has involved museums in many challenges in terms of organizing educational activities for the general public, and this year's "relaunch" brings with it new ways of valuing heritage, the theme proposed and harmonized with European trends is Museums in the European Year of Youth.

Specialists from museums, universities, high schools, schools and kindergartens, centers and NGOs are expected to participate. At the same time, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, as well as other institutions in the field of education will participate.

The conference will take place on November 10, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., at the headquarters of the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village in Șos. Kiseleff no. 30, Sector 1, Bucharest.
