Between 6-8 November 2024 the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village in Bucharest organizes the 17th edition of the "Doina Darvaș" National Conservation-Restoration Conference with the themeresearchetand preservation of cultural heritage - materials, techniquesetand specific technologies.

This meeting is an opportunity for specialists in heritage research, conservation and restoration to exchange experiences and present case studies as well as solutions to the common problems of cultural property custodians, which we wish to draw attention to through the selected scientific contributions.

This year's conference, with the acronym CONScience2024 will include the following sections:

1. Case studies in conservation and restoration of built heritage
2. Modern strategies in the conservation and restoration of mobile heritage
3. Scientific laboratory research
