Childhood in the village
The "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum invites you from Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in the Glass Hall to the "Childhood in the village" exhibition, which includes drawings signed by Petra Andrei-Negru. Petra is 11 years old and lives in a Saxon village in Transylvania, surrounded by her non-speaking friends: the puppy Maia, Sasha and the mutt Caramel. Petra has been drawing since she was 1 and a half years old.
Her first drawing was a little mouse in a dress. Over time, for her, drawing became a way of expression, it being easy for her to illustrate the happenings of every day. One day, Petra discovered that she likes to create her own stories, then illustrate them, and she also likes to reproduce the characters from her favorite books in the form of comics, placing great emphasis on the expressiveness and emotions conveyed by those characters. Petra's passion for drawing continued in a natural way, and currently she is a student in her fourth year of specialization at the "Tiberiu Brediceanu" Popular School of Arts and Crafts in Brașov - Graphics department, under the guidance of Professor Roxana Felicia Ferenc.
Expoziția poate fi vizitată de miercuri până duminică, între orele 10:00 și 18:00, până la data de 30 septembrie 2023.
