The National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village invites you from February 24 to 27, 2022 to celebrate together the arrival of spring and one of the most tender moments of the beginning of spring: Dragobetele, or, as it is recorded in the popular traditional calendar, Valentine's Day.

It has become a tradition to celebrate Valentine's Day at the museum together with folk artists and craftsmen, who will present the traditions related to the beginning of spring in a fair. They will be with us: Cucii from Brănești, Gelu Voicu and Taraful Lăutarii from Teleorman and the actor Nae Alexandru. Poetry competitions – online and offline, painting exhibitions and workshops for children will be prepared.

Access to the event is done by purchasing the entrance ticket and observing all the rules for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the obligation to wear a protective mask throughout the visit (inside and outside), according to GD no. 171/2022 regarding the extension of the state of alert on the territory of Romania starting from February 7, 2022, as well as establishing the measures that are applied during it to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
