The Colors of My Country-Romania exhibition
The National Museum of the Dimitrie Gusti Village will organize in the Kingdom of Morocco, in Rabat, on the occasion of the National Day of Romania, the exhibition titled Colors of My Country-Romania. From the museum's collections, 40 pieces of traditional wear, ceramics, wood, reproductions based on archival photos, documentary films about the alto shirt will be presented to the publiccomplicated, bark- elements included in the UNESCO intangible heritage. The craftsman Elena Hojda will also be present, she will do a series of demonstrations of dyeing eggs and she will teach the children, in some workshops, why the fragile dyed egg is in the intangible heritage register of Romania.
The event is organized by the National Museum of Dimitrie Gusti Village in collaboration with the Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Morocco and will take place between November 26 and December 1, 2023, in the halls of La Tour Hassan Palace in Rabat.
