The exhibition "Prispa with flowers" - a celebration of Romanian traditions in art
The National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" invites youSaturday, April 12, 2025, from 12.00, at Casa Glodat the opening of the exhibitionFlower porch.
The event is part of the extensive event"The flowers with sun and the sun with flowers come"and will take place in the presence of coordinating teachers Florina Niță, painting teacher at the Gymnasium School of Arts no. 3 from Bucharest and Vladimir Baciu, professor from the "Iosif Sava" School of Arts.
The exhibition brings together the works of the students from the mentioned schools, inspired by the Romanian architecture and traditions. The central project of the event is represented by the atmosphere of a traditional cottage decorated with flowers - having windows and shutters dressed in floral motifs, along with biting accents, bat and traditional curtains. Also, the exhibition includes clay objects, made with migal by young artists, reflecting authentic elements of the culture of the Romanian village.
"We believe that this event represents a great opportunity to promote the talent of young artists and to enrich the cultural experience of visitors. We want through these works to bring to the fore the beauty and originality of the Romanian traditions, but also to encourage the creativity of our students," says Prof. Florina Niță.
"It is essential to highlight the cultural heritage and to inspire future generations through art. The exhibition" Prispa with flowers "is the living proof of the creative potential of our children and the importance of artistic education in the formation of a solid cultural identity," says Professor Vladimir Baciu.
Visitors are invited to discover the exhibition, at Casa Glod, from April 12 to May 11, 2025, according to the following program:
- Monday - Tuesday - the exhibition is closed
- Wednesday - Friday: 11:00 - 14:00
- Saturday - Sunday: 12:00 - 16:00
