
Femininity and adorition
Between May 28 and June 17, it is open to the National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" the exhibition "Femininity and decoration". The exhibition brings to the fore the woman and highlights the fact that, being preoccupied as beautifully, she has paid special attention to clothing, comb, ornaments, cooks in general. The creativity and care with which the woman adorned her house and itself belongs to the beauty and originality of the pieces that will be exposed. The rich ornamentation, the chromatic harmony of the clothing ensembles, compounds in an authentic way, are complemented by the great variety of comb, the heads of the head and the ornaments, specific to each area.
The exhibition presents a selection of the most beautiful and representative heritage objects from the collections of the National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti": female folk costumes from the most representative ethnographic areas of the country, female costumes of minorities, head covers, hats, marames, census, ceps, a few pieces painted furniture and jewelry.
