The Festival of Traditions and Customs "The Yellow Flowers"
The National Museum of the Dimitrie Gusti Village invites you from December 14-15, 2024 to the "Florile Dalbe" Traditions and Customs Festival, a traditional event organized annually with the aim of presenting Christmas and New Year traditions.
Centuries old, carols represent the deep feelings of the people, passing the test of time and moving the souls of those who listen to them. The carols bring hope for the coming year, their period culminating with the Birth of the Savior Jesus Christ, through which joy entered the world.
You will have the opportunity to admire the groups of carolers who will walk the museum's alleys in a parade that will leave from the entrance of the Street. Kiseleff no. 28.
During the two days of the event, there will also be a fair of folk craftsmen with objects made by them, tasty and aromatic products from traditional gastronomy, as well as organic products. You can taste jams and sherbet, gingerbread and cakes, honey and scones. The fair will be open between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and access is by purchasing the museum entrance ticket.
