The Tomato and Biodiversity Festival

The volunteers "seeds with soul" together with the National Museum of the Village Dimitrie Gusti invite you on August 9, between 10 and 13 hours, at the Tomato and Biodiversity Festival, dedicated to gardening enthusiasts.

The event is a feast of diversity in the gardens of the households and a unique opportunity to discover impressive tomatoes and other plants for the vegetable garden. Those interested will be able to find out more of the exhibitions that will present countless varieties of tomatoes, from the largest to the most delicate (cherry) and will have the opportunity to participate in a contest dedicated to them. As usual, the volunteers of the seed with soul will offer valuable seeds for free, thus supporting the preservation and spread of biodiversity in our gardens.

Also, sales of products from the garden and pantry, handmade products, handicrafts, all made with great care and passion of folk crafts will be available. The event will also be present at the horticultural engineer Ion Cacazu from the Republic of Moldova, the author of the book "Tomatoes for all", who will share from his vast experience in cultivating tomatoes and organic agriculture.

The event is part of the volunteer project seeds with soul, through which biodiversity is encouraged and promoted.

We are waiting for you to join and share the passion for gardening and biodiversity together!
