The National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" present in Rome, Italy

At the invitation of the Romanian Embassy in Italy, the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" village in partnership with the Etruscan National Museum, the Museum of Civilizations in Rome and with the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Italy is invited to a cultural event promoting the day of Martișor under the title "Etruscii, Romanians, Romanians".

The event will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 4 pm at the Etruscal National Museum in Rome (Piazzale di Villa Giulia no. 9).

About the traditions of spring in Romanians and Italians will conferring the lady conf. Univ. Dr. Paula Popoiu, manager, National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" present in Rome with Dr. Georgiana Onoiu, interim director, heritage, Dr. Luana Toniolo, director, Etrusc National Museum and Dr. Francesca Romana Uccella, researcher, Museum of Civilizations in Rome.
At the event, his excellence, Mrs. Gabriela Dancău, Romania's ambassador to the Republic of Italy, will present her message on this occasion.
Also, Mrs. Diana Bacuna, Secretary of State, Ministry of Culture of Romania will be present.

The custom of Mărțișor was included in the list of elements of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in 2017, as "cultural events associated with the celebration of March 1", proposed in a collective file by Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Romania.
