In the good tradition of the last 30 years, the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village invites you to the camp between July 11 and August 5, 2022. The camp includes a wide range of activities through which children can spend their summer vacation in a friendly atmosphere and rustic, reminiscent of the grandparents' yard in the country. The aim of the program is to instill in the little ones a love for tradition and culture and to take traditional crafts further. We combine the useful with the pleasant and hope that the participants will become more responsible and show more care for the national cultural heritage.
For 4 weeks, the children will work alongside folk craftsmen from all over the country, who will initiate them into the secrets of folk crafts: pottery, weaving, cut-sewing-embroidery, dyeing eggs, making dolls, masks and folk ornaments, wood carving, painting icons on wood and glass, artistic leather processing, folk dances, modeling clay, making wooden toys, twine braiding, photography.
The workshops are aimed at children from 4 to 18 years old. The participation fee is 300 lei/participant/week/workshop and includes the accompanying fee for children between 4 and 8 years old. 10 children are accepted per workshop.
Registrations take place both at the headquarters of the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village, Arhondaric building, Șos. Kiseleff no. 28, from Monday to Thursday, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and on Fridays between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., as well as online, at the email addresstabaravarapeulita@gmail.com
For online registrationsis sent registration formcorrectly completed, accompanied byproof of payment(a copy after the payment order) andcopy of the birth certificate. Online registrations received over the weekend are answered on Monday. Registrations are valid only when confirmed by email or phone!
