At the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village we carry on the tradition!

Starting from February 27, 2023 we are waiting for you at the traditional early spring fair,Fair with talc...Mărțişorul, symbol of spring. You will meet one of the oldest and best-known traditions of the Balkan peoples, including the Romanian people: the tradition of Mărțișor.

Included on December 6, 2017 in the UNESCO World Heritage, Mărțişorul is celebrated at the Village Museum through a fair of folk craftsmen. Come and see artisans bring life to the most beloved object of spring through traditional methods, enlivening wood, glass, fabric or seeds of various kinds. The young men will be able to go home with a piece of tradition, which they can offer to the proud on the eve of spring and at the beginning of the agricultural year, so that they have an enriched year.

The fair will be held in the premises of the National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village and will be open from Monday to Sunday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., until March 8, 2023.
