SAINT MARY'S FAIR
The National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village is organizing the "Saint Mary's Fair" between 4 and 8 September 2021. The event aims to restore the atmosphere of the fairs of old in the Romanian village, around the celebration of the Nativity of the Mother of God, popularly calledHoly Mary Little, a celebration that marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet popular craftsmen, collectors and visual artists and purchase their most beautiful creations. The novelty of this year's edition of the fair is the presence of producers enrolled in the quality scheme recognized at European level "Montan Product" granted by the National Agency of the Mountain Zone (ANZM), a specialized body of the central public administration under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Sunday, September 5, from 1:00 p.m., on the Dumitra Stage inside the museum, the musical-choreographic moment will take placeSong, play and good cheer… everyone gathers!. Thus, the Folkloric Ensemble "Doina Bucharestului" and the soloists Gheorghița Nicolae and Nicu Măță will perform on stage.
Entrance ticket price – 20 lei/adult; 10 lei/pensioner; 5 lei/pupil, student.
