The roaming bull of Pucará: Ambassador of the Peruvian mountains

"Pucará Roaming Bull: Ambassador of the Peruvian Mountains"
The exhibition includes 16 pieces of painted ceramics made by 10 artisan associations in the village of Pucará, Puno region of Peru, bringing together more than 500 local ceramic artisans.
The Pucará bull is an ancestral cultural expression and a symbol of Andean identity in the southern Republic of Peru. This tradition is a mix between Andean and Spanish culture and the ceramic bulls represent protection, happiness and fertility for the local communities.
Visual artist Alina Codin from Romania will present her own interpretation of the Bull of Pucará, in the year we celebrate 85 years of diplomatic relations between Peru and Romania.
The exhibition will be open until May 22
