National Culture Day

The National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" in Bucharest organizes, on January 15, 2025, on the National Culture Day, the eventI miss Eminescu, which will include a music and poetry program dedicated to our national poet. They will participate: Rhapsod Lorena Oltean, whisper of Albanian origin Arldelda Morava accompanied by Piana by Adriana Alexandru, actors Nae Alexandru, Cristina Deleanu and Eugen Cristea will recite from Eminescian poetry. The event marks the 174 years since the birth of the Romanian Poetry Luceafăr and will take place in the Victor Ion Popa Hall of Sos. Kiseleff no. 30, starting at 11:00.

Also in the marble room, the exhibition will be openedQueen Maria - a age and a half, organized by the National Heritage Institute and the National Museum of the Village “Dimitrie Gusti".The event marks 150 years since the birth of Queen Mary of Romania and illustrates the personality of the legendary sovereign, the one who continues to give us lessons about beauty, diplomacy, sacrifice, courage, patriotism. The exhibition brings together some of Queen Maria's books in princeps editions, one of them being with its autograph. The Queen's tabachera, a pencil with a monogram, a portrait in the fiancee, photos, postcards, advertisements, stamps, medals will also be exposed.Exposition is completed by sheets with unique photos, documents, watercolors and representative graphic works of Queen Maria and will also be Reconstituted the atmosphere of the time by exposing some clothing and accessories from 1900-1930.
